All Day Ride – Sunday 3rd May 2026

This Sunday’s all day ride will be led by Guy Mayhew. A volunteer to be Tail End Charlie would be appreciated.

Please meet at Costa Coffee, Marsh Mills, Plymouth, PL6 8LX, (///candy.hero.grades) from 9.00am ready for a briefing at 9.20am and a prompt 9.30am departure.

The route will head up the A38 to South Brent, onto Exeter via Haldon Forest and then to Sidmouth for our first stop for coffee/tea (30 minutes) at Waite & Rose Cafe, Waitrose, Sidmouth, EX10 9YJ,  (///clever.slurs.expose) at approx. 10:45am. 

Following coffee we’ll head to The Canal Tea Rooms and Garden, Grand Western Canal, Tiverton, EX16 4HX, (///deeper.whips.sports) for lunch (1 hour) arriving at approx. 12:50pm

After lunch we’ll head to Crediton and onto Okehampton and then Sourton Down where we’ll have a short comfort break (20 minutes) (///destined.deep.blink) arriving at approx. 2.50pm.

We’ll then head back to finish the ride, where we can say our goodbyes, in the Car park at Yelverton, PL20 6AE (///nutrients.selects.onlookers), around 4.00pm. The route will cover 149 miles in total.

The ride will be conducted in accordance with the IAM’s Group Organised Rides manual. The ride is open to all members. Associates are particularly encouraged to attend as these rides provide a great opportunity to meet fellow members and practice your skills amongst like-minded individuals. This is a social event and not an observed ride.
