All Day Ride – Sunday 5th October 2025

This Sunday’s all day ride will be led by Vince Wills. A volunteer to be Tail End Charlie would be appreciated.

Please meet at Costa Coffee, Marsh Mills Retail Park, Longbridge, Plymouth, PL6 8LX, (///candy.hero.grades), from 9.00am with a full tank of fuel ready for a briefing at 9.20am and a prompt 9.30am departure.

The route will head across Dartmoor to the far eastern side of Devon, before returning back across Dartmoor.

The route will head through Plympton, and Meavy before heading east through Princetown, and stopping at Moretonhampstead for refreshments.  We will park in the carpark and have a few minute walk into the town to the choice of two cafés.

After refreshments, the route will continue on the B3212 towards Exeter, and skirting the outskirts of Exeter, will pick up the A376 towards Woodbury, before joining the A3052 to Sidford.  Turning left in Sidford, the route will head towards Honiton, where there will be a lunch break at Honiton Garden Centre, Tower Road, Honiton, EX14 9TN, (///other.shippers.jokes).

After lunch, the route will head via Cullompton and Tiverton, and onwards towards Winkleigh, Jacobstowe and Sourton Cross for the ride to finish at Yelverton. A refreshment stop on the return leg is yet to be decided.

The ride will be conducted in accordance with the IAM’s Group Organised Rides manual. The ride is open to all members. Associates are particularly encouraged to attend as these rides provide a great opportunity to meet fellow members and practice your skills amongst like-minded individuals. This is a social event and not an observed ride.
