All Day Ride – Sunday 6th September 2026

This Sunday’s full day ride will be led by Barry Hine, a volunteer for tail end Charlie would be greatly appreciated.

Please meet at Saltash Services PL12 6LF (///sparkles.revise.gather). for a briefing at 0920 and 0930 departure.

The whole ride is in Cornwall, and takes us cross-country to St. Ive, Cardinham Woods, Bugle, Roche and on to Polperro, where we’ll take coffee.  It looks like on street parking is our best bet, where we can park free for 30 minutes.  After coffee, we pick up the route back to Newquay, Watergate Bay and follow the coast as closely as possible.  The views are spectacular and the roads offer the opportunity to make progress.  Lunch will be at Boscastle Farm Shop & Café, (///sketching.unzips.seat) we should arrive at approximately 1.30pm.  After lunch, we briefly touch the A39 before going cross country to Canworthy Water, Egloskerry, Launceston and Callington, finishing the ride back at Saltash Services.

The route will be available to download from the PAM MyRoute-App page https://www.myrouteapp.com/route/open/14345093

The ride will be conducted in accordance with the IAM’s Group Organised Rides manual. The ride is open to all members. Associates are particularly encouraged to attend as these rides provide a great opportunity to meet fellow members and practice your skills amongst like-minded individuals. This is a social event and not an observed ride.

You are reminded that the ride leader is responsible for navigation and route guidance only. It remains your personal responsibility to exercise your own judgement about every course of action that you take, and every rider is responsible for their own actions and the consequences that those actions may have.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

The PAM Team.
